Investment and Coaching Options
I prefer to have one-off strategic coaching calls with clients rather than run a series of them. Speakers are by their nature resourceful people, which means that any one call can yield a great deal of potential work for a speaker to respond to. Once that work has been considered and done, it often makes far more sense to reconvene, rather than book the next call before the first insights have had a chance to land. A programme structure can end up rushing that process; a single, focused call respects it.
If it’s useful, I’m always happy to schedule a follow-up call once you’ve had time to work through what came out of the first one.
Strategic coaching sessions are priced at ZAR2,600 (140 Euro). There is a 15% discount for Red Jacket Speakers.
What do we explore?
- What is your best way to share your message? Keynote, training, online, coaching, or others?
- What kind of products could you create around your topic? Books, online courses, coaching programs, training Courses?
- At what stage in your content process would you like to earn income? From an initial keynote, later in a training program, from the sale of books or membership programs?
- How are you positioned and does that serve you or do you need to make yourself a little bit famous in a new market?
- Where is your market? Do you want to work at home, or travel? Do you have a preference for where in the world you would like to develop a new market and do you know why? Do you have a valuable network there, or do you still need to build that?
- Does your resume include items that will cause a client to be impressed? If not, do you know how to find some of those items to add to your resume?
- Do you have a ready media kit or event organiser kit and is it comprehensive and useable enough to make you look professional?
Who is the Strategist?
- Charlotte Kemp was previously involved in every part of her home association, Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA) where she served as President a few years back. She has been a conference convenor and supported many others events.
- She is a Past President of the Global Speakers Federation (GSF) through which she connects with speakers at all stages of their careers, all over the world.
- Charlotte also works as the Chief Relationship Officer for Voices Into Africa, a company seeking to support the professional speakers and business events profession across the continent of Africa. Within this project Charlotte also runs the Red Jacket Speaker Bureau offering opportunities and visibility to professional speakers.
- During 2020/21 in the fall out of Covid, Charlotte served as the PSASA representative to the South African Events Council, seeking ways to support everyone involved in the business speaking and events arena.
